Our Program
Welcome to East Garrison Maya Child Care! Our center is dedicated to nurturing the unique potential of every child. We offer a rich program of age-appropriate activities that foster growth and learning, with a strong focus on social and emotional development. Our certified and highly trained staff are passionate about delivering exceptional care tailored to each child’s needs. We collaborate closely with parents to ensure individualized attention and support for every child. Located in the East Garrison neighborhood at the corner of Caldwell St., our facility, built in 2014, is conveniently situated across from a park for easy drop-off and pick-up. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and engaging environment with brand-new, clean toys and play structures.
Our Staff
Farhana co-founded this large-group childcare program with a trusted colleague. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Monterey Peninsula College and brings more than a decade of experience, including three years at the MPC Childcare Center and a recent role at the Monterey Rd Child & Youth Center. She is certified in Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, and First Aid. Married for 25 years, Farhana and her husband (who works at DLI) are raising three children—one in college, one in high school, and one in middle school. Above all, she’s dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment that nurtures every child’s growth.
